Mission Statement:
To form partnerships with students and families to create passionate learners who are dedicated in excelling academically and personally.

Starting my third year at DHS, I am truly excited about the 2018-2019 school year!

Here is a brief bio on me:
Originally from Louisiana, my wife and I moved to Texas in 2016.  This past summer, we were blessed to have my son, Samuel, move to Texas with us.  Often people ask me if I miss Louisiana, and my response is "The only thing I miss about Louisiana is my grandmother", which means I love being a transplant in Texas.

In 1997, I graduated from John Brown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and planned to one day become a Ph.D. Psychologist.  However, life intervened and I've had a variety of life experiences that led me to becoming a teacher.

Teaching and helping our youth develop into well balanced and productive adults is a personal passion, and is a responsibility that I treat with tremendous care.
Having the opportunity to be a positive influence to the students of DeSoto High School is a great honor and I look forward to working with students, parents, and faculty to help guide our youth to the success they deserve.

Go Eagles!!!!
